DBSA Warren County will no longer be meeting in Easton PA and Hackettstown, as those meetings have not generated attendance. Stay tuned, however, as we seek a better meeting location in Hackettstown. Our weekly meetings in Phillipsburg continue to be well attended. Please join us there for our Thursday evening meeting at St. Luke’s Warren Hospital.

Please join us for our new support group meeting in Hackettstown, NJ at the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center’s Counseling & Addiction Center, 112 East Ave (Unit #9), Hackettstown, NJ 07840. The meeting will take place weekly on Wednesdays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM starting March 18, 2015. Leaders of DBSA Warren County, which started a support group at  St Luke’s Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg last November, are starting this meeting to extend the availability of our support groups across Warren County.

DBSA support group meetings are open to anyone living with depression, bipolar disorder, or a related mental health issue, including family, friends, or those who want to learn. Our first meeting in Phillipsburg on Thursday, November 6 was a great success! Eighteen people were in attendance led by Donald and Ken, who facilitated the support group discussions, and others who came out in support.The meeting began with introductory remarks by the group leader, Donald Breen, followed by remarks from David Mizenko representing the state organization and James Seng representing the hospital, which has been most supportive, before splitting into our discussion groups.
